Nominated Proof of Stake (NPoS) is where nominators back validators with their own stake. Unlike Delegated Proof of Stake, Nominators are subject to a loss of stake if they nominate a bad validators. Subsquently, if a validator attempts to validate a fraudelent transaction, they are subject to a loss of stake.
