Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) is a combination of Proof of Authority and Proof of Stake. relies on the identity of the stakers, instead of staking their own coins like in Proof of Stake, they are staking their own reputation instead. A limited number of validators are selected based on their reputation, who also act as moderators of the system.
